Expansion of products range: quartz and nano-ceramic dental fiber posts STEA

PROTECO has expanded its STEA dental instruments line of products. Now our portfolio includes high-tech quartz-fiber posts for post-endodontic restoration, which are already available for ordering throughout Russia and CIS countries. 

Advantages of STEA posts:

- Excellent light transmission and radiopacity.

- Quartz and nano-ceramic STEA posts are superior to standard fiberglass posts in terms of strength, elasticity, resistance to high temperatures, moisture and aggressive environment.

- All fibers are pre-tensioned, silanized and bonded with epoxy resin, which provides increased strength and durability, improved marginal sealing and a tight fit of the post. There is no need for re-silanization after processing the post.

- The line includes special reamers that match the shape and size of the pins for high-quality calibration of the root canal and the ability to create a uniform layer of cement during fixation.

STEA pin series:

1. Crystal Quartz series quartz-fiber posts:

- Simplex line: classic cylindrical posts with an elongated shape in the apical third.

- HS line (Harley Street London): conical posts with small dimensions and a very small diameter in the apical zone.

- Cobra line: Conical posts with a wide extracoronal part resembling a cobra hood for post-endodontic restoration using a large amount of composite materials.

2. Nano Ceramic Post series of the Simplex line: Nano-ceramic classic cylindrical posts with an elongated shape in the apical third.
